I have went 2 her website %26amp; 2 hayhouse but i havent seen any. I had a spell book by Dorothy Morrison but it got stolen. It wanted me 2 use gems I never heard of, stuff like a 'tiger's eye' which i never heard of before, it had a list at the end of the book of all the charms %26amp; the description %26amp; stuff U use %26amp; most i never heard of before. I would have no idea where on earth I would find them (I plan on buying this book again.)

I have went 2 her website %26amp; 2 hayhouse but i havent seen any. I had a spell book by Dorothy Morrison but it got stolen. It wanted me 2 use gems I never heard of, stuff like a 'tiger's eye' which i never heard of before, it had a list at the end of the book of all the charms %26amp; the description %26amp; stuff U use %26amp; most i never heard of before. Sylvia Browne doesn't claim to do any type of magic so she wouldn't have spell books for sale. Why not pick up another copy of the one that was stolen - it shouldn't be hard to find on Amazon, Ebay, or Half.com. While you're at it you may want to get Scott Cunningham's book on gemstones.

In the libraries I've worked in, if you lose a book, libraries charge cover price. A hardcover today typically runs about $25 (give or take), but a hardcover in 1988 would have been less. Libraries charge cover price and perhaps a processing fee because they need to replace the book, and even if they can't get that specific copy, they can get something comparable (at least they hope they can).
It's not worth your time/effort to try to find a replacement copy because many times the library cannot or will not take it in exchange; a book that is fine for a home collection will not stand up to library use.

Ok, so I am just now realizing this. I sent in a short story to a writing contest. Then, my school had to send in submissions into an online journal made by the students. It is free and online, published. I sent in the same essay that I wrote for the contest. And then, I won the contest. It's going to be published in a book. Do this enough times and you will ';train'; yourself as to how to draw ANYTHING! In this case you could use a comic book of Disney characters! I have been out of college a couple of years, but if you need to save a bit of cash, you can do what i did. most libraries will have the books that are required for your class. so i just check those out for the most time i can and then keep renewing them. when my renewing time has maxed out then i get my borther to check it out on his card so i don't have to spend money on the books. you won't find them all but a few books here or there might help. but if u wnat to get them used you can go to amazon.com, or even ebay, or craigslist would have them. and hope you enjoy your birthday!

AS is also known as Palma Hall.

There is a restaraunt in my town that has a bookshelf full of used books. If you bring in a book, you can trade it for one of the books on the shelf. I always liked this idea for a coffee shop or small restaraunt; it seems friendly and personal to me. There is also a bakery in my town that has a bookshelf full of free books that have to do with a website callled bookcrossing.com : This website is like one giant book exchange, where you register a book on the website and then ';release'; it to be found by someone else.
For a coffee shop, I like ideas like this better than just selling brand new books. The Sacramento Kennel Club as well as the San Joaquin Kennel Club maintain a breeders registry. If I recall there are puppy farms for several toy breeds (including Yorkshire Terrier) in Lodi, Oakley, Woodbridge, and Galt. There's breed rescue by the parent club, the Sacramento county animal shelter, the Sac City animal control, the Delta Humane Society, the Stockton Animal Shelter.

Being a show person of yorkies, and an occasional breeder I can tell you that what you want is a tiny yorkie, not a T-Cup (no such thing), also you did not say how old your daughter is, but most toy dog breeders will NOT sell a standard yorkie, let alone a tiny to anyone with children under 8 in the home. They are much too delicate to be rough housed by kids that don't know any better.
You're not going to find any well bred yorkie for under $400. Period. You are certainly not going to find a poorly bred runt (aka. Teacup) for less than that as the back yard breeders and puppy mills jack the prices up on them to make you think you are getting something rare or special. Please do some research before you buy. Teacups of any breed most often have horrendous health complications and are incredibly fragile. They should NEVER be left alone with children and even normal sized adult yorkies are not good pets for kids; they are just too small. Also, puppies make terrible gifts. The holidays are very hectic and bringing a puppy home is stressful under the best of circumstances, so just imagine what it will be like for the dog with so many people coming and going and so much going on! My friend's boyfriend ended up buying her a teacup yorkie, and guess what? The dog died at about 9 months of age, and they are out several thousand dollars from vet bills. They have spoken to many different people about this issue, who also purchased dogs from pet stores and online BYBs, and the stories they tell are heart breaking.
Please please, please, do proper research on a dog. Talk to a veterinarian, and see what they say. This may spare you and your daughter a lot of heartache.

Yorkies only come in ONE size.. anyone selling a ';teacup'; one is scamming you anyways into buying an unhealthy runt.. even if you find one for your price range, you will end up with huge vet bills. It doesnt matter if your mind is made up or not.. there is no such thing as a ';teacup';.. if you were to look at the registration papers (if the dog has any), you'd see that its just registered as a Yorkshire Terrier.. ';teacup'; wont be found anywhere on the paperwork. Yorkies are already small dogs tho at 7 pounds or less.
I know someone who got a ';teacup'; chihuahua.. the puppy did not even live a full week.. it spent 6 days in the vet hospital with hypoglycemia before it died. The breeder would not refund or reimburse his money, nor would she offer a replacement puppy.
You wont find a quality Yorkie for that price.. reputable breeders put a LOT of money into their dogs. They do genetic health tests to assure health and put money into pre-natal care. Yorkies are not cheap to breed.. they often need cecarians, and have small litters. You can expect to pay well over $1,000 to obtain a healthy puppy. Even at that price a breeder still does not make any money off the litter.
For your price.. you'd be better off to try shelter or rescue.. you can probably find one for around $300 or so thats already spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on shots.. quite a deal for all the vet care included!
Do be aware tho, a reputable breeder or a rescue will not likely adopt or sell a dog as a Christmas present, you may have to let your girls know that one is coming AFTER the holidays.. surprise them with some puppy supplies. Unfortunately, there's no way you'll find one for that cheap. Any Yorkie that is really going to that small will be at least $700 and that'd be really cheap. You may be able to find a regular Yorkie though for around $400. You have to be so careful about be scammed. You also want to make 100% sure that it is not a puppymill puppy. You sound desperate and that worries me because you could fall prey to being scammed again or buying a puppy that appears healthy but is really not well and dies shortly after. I bought a teacup Maltese for $1000 and I thought that the breeder was reputable but she wouldn't let me back to look at her kennel because she said it ';got the dogs too excited'; and just let me see the pups. Well, I bought it and the pup died 3 days later after the 24 hr. warranty because of a CONGENTITAL heart defect. #4 Make sure the puppy has been examined by a vet and has had its first shots and been de-wormed and have this on paper
#5 I recommend a warranty that covers congenital problems that the puppy was born with and at the very least offers a replacement. Make sure that this is in writing

Once again, I doubt you'll find any less than $1000. I think you should just settle for a regular Yorkie puppy and just try to find one with parents on the small side. The teacup breeds are also so fragile and they really shake a lot and get cold. A toy breed that is just a few pounds bigger will be a lot healthier and playful. Your kids will still love it, I guarantee it. And you can still dress it up and bring it with you in a purse. Trust me. I think you should look at other breeds though. Yorkies are really not the best breed for kids. If you like small breeds, I'd recommend a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. This is one of the new ';cool'; breeds to own. They are super smart, great with kids, don't bark often, and are just adorable. Yorkies can be very yappy and snappy and are NOT good playmates especially for young kids. Make very good friends with your vet. You'll be seeing alot of him. You already know the scam aspect of puppy mills and BYB's so why do it again. Check with shelters and breed rescues to see if any of these little darlings ended up there from a raid or an unsatisfied owner if you must have a tiny one. If you want a Yorkie, check with the AKC for reputable breeders.

Please don't give a dog for Christmas, it's the worst time to bring a new puppy into a house, there is too much going on too many people in the house visitors etc, a puppy will stress out too much, get stepped on, ignored, eat something it shouldn't etc. Wait until after Christmas to bring the dog home when its calm and not hectic and you have the time to devote to housebreaking and settling the dog in.
Make sure that you understand that when you buy a dog for your children that the care, and training and vet bills will be your responsibility, kids say they will take care of it but when they have to take it outside to potty 20 times a day including the middle of the night, the novelty quickly wears off. When you have to clean up pee and poop off of your rug because the children do not know how to housebreak, when they start smacking it for pottying in the house because Yorkies are NOTORIOUSLY hard to housebreak, and the dog becomes aggressive and bites them, what then?
Just look for a BYB [back yard breeder] selling ';regular'; yorkies for $400 trust me its still a small dog, it won't get above 10lbs and your girls will not know the difference.

Sorry, but there IS no such thing. To tell you there is would be a lie. You can buy a runt Yorkie with Teacup stamped across it's cage door from any pet store or backyard breeder. Make very good friends with your vet. You'll be seeing alot of him. You already know the scam aspect of puppy mills and BYB's so why do it again. Check with shelters and breed rescues to see if any of these little darlings ended up there from a raid or an unsatisfied owner if you must have a tiny one. If you want a Yorkie, check with the AKC for reputable breeders.
Also, it isn't wise to bring a new dog into a household during Christmas. There's too much going on and it stresses the dog. You could end up with some hard to break bad habits. I know tv makes it look so cute for a puppy with a big red bow to jump out of a box on Christmas morning but like most things on tv, it's fiction and doesn't really happen that way. Wait till after New Years and get a real Yorkie from a real breeder so your kids will have a nice dog they can love for many years. Really, is it going to be fun for the girls to have a dog who's sick all the time?

That's just it, there is no such thing as a Tea-cup any breed. It's called a teacup because it's so tiny, but ask the AKC and they will tell you they do not recognize ';tea cup'; as a breed anything.
People call them teacups to make them sound cute, but it's just the small runt of the litter bred with another runt to make more runts. And I'm sorry but you will NEVER find a ';teacup'; yorkie for $400, when they put the word ';teacup'; in front of the breed they suddenly Jack the price up to $1500.00 and guess what, idiots pay that much for a dog.
Please don't give a dog for Christmas, it's the worst time to bring a new puppy into a house, there is too much going on too many people in the house visitors etc, a puppy will stress out too much, get stepped on, ignored, eat something it shouldn't etc. Wait until after Christmas to bring the dog home when its calm and not hectic and you have the time to devote to housebreaking and settling the dog in.
Make sure that you understand that when you buy a dog for your children that the care, and training and vet bills will be your responsibility, kids say they will take care of it but when they have to take it outside to potty 20 times a day including the middle of the night, the novelty quickly wears off. When you have to clean up pee and poop off of your rug because the children do not know how to housebreak, when they start smacking it for pottying in the house because Yorkies are NOTORIOUSLY hard to housebreak, and the dog becomes aggressive and bites them, what then?
Just look for a BYB [back yard breeder] selling ';regular'; yorkies for $400 trust me its still a small dog, it won't get above 10lbs and your girls will not know the difference.

Go to puppyfind.com. That is where I found my own dog, who is a mini schnauzer. Just make sure you talk to the people and go see the dog first if possible. I was looking at the yorkies and I actually found one for $400. Here is the breeders website:

Have you already checked on line for one if so not really sure where else you can look other than calling all pet stores good luck hope you find one for x-mas
