A reputable breeder will not guarantee the size of his/her pups. You want a 5 lb yorkie, but it could end up 2 lbs, or 7 lbs, or even more.





Your limit is ridiculous! Do you not care about the health or the temperment of your dog, or the thousands and thousands of dollars an unhealthy yorkie will cost you in the first few weeks? I suggest going to a local rescue or shelter. A lot of people don't know this but you can get pure breed dogs at rescues and shelters.

go to www.petfinder.com and look for an adult thats in a shelter or rescue. Dont look for a puppy if size is that important, because you never know for sure how big a puppy will get.

For 5lbs or less, you will have to pay over $1000. $700 or less with get you a Yorkie that is over the size limit, or with a possible genetic problem.
If you can get one that cheap be very cautious. anyone selling a dog for a bargin price should be asked tons of question and you should definately see the mother and father to make sure you arnt being scammed. you might end up with a poor quality dog, one that gets bigger or doesnt look like the breed standard. if you buy a dog that isnt papered there is no gaurentee who sired the litter.you should check local shelters. also try petfinder.com you can search breed specific.
