A used book store is your most reliable bet, but if you live around a library or university, ocassionally they will have book sales. The books aren't always paperback, mind you, and they might not be what you are looking for, but they are cheap. Such sales, however, are often ';by the inch'; rather than per book, which makes for great deals.
Also, if you happen to have one near you, ';Half-Priced Books'; is a bookstore that, true to its name, generally charges half price for books (and assorted other items, such are records, DVDs, etc). However, they also have bargin bins in which you can find books for around a dollar or less.Could I get some suggestions for a place to find inexpensive paperback books for sale or trade?
Well it depends on your pocket...Try car boot sales...or E-bay!
